See it all! The Winchester Grand Estate Tour takes guests on the Mansion Tour and the Behind-the-Scenes Tour.
The Behind-the-Scenes Tour is a 55-minute guided Tour which shows much of what made the estate run. Tour stops include the Stables, Fruit Drying Shed, Garage, Greenhouse, and the unfinished Ballroom... The highlight of the Behind-the-Scenes Tour is a journey down into the basement, which houses the coal burning furnace and an original hydraulic cargo elevator.
Admission to the Victorian Gardens, Historic Firearms Museum, and Specialty Gifts & Antique Products Museum is included as well. For safety concerns children 5 and under are not allowed on the Grand Estate Tour.
If you have a group with young children and some in your party would like to do the Grand Estate Tour, we suggest to purchase the Grand Estate Tour tickets and add on a Mansion Tour ticket with the same start time for the person staying with the children, that way you will all be able to take the Mansion Tour together and the rest of the group will move forward with the Behind the Scenes Tour after!
